Halloween Coupon Codes and Promotional Codes

When bargain shopping for Halloween costumes, always, always, always, look for coupon codes and promotional codes. The price listed on an online costume retailer’s website isn’t necessarily the final and only price. There’s a lot of competition for your purchasing dollars, especially in this economy, especially amongst retailers who are so heavily dependent upon seasonal purchases, and when a lot of them have substantially the same merchandise for sale. They want your business, preferably repeat business, and they are often willing to sweeten the offer to get you to buy from them, or to increase the size of your purchase. The savvy internet shopper can often find a coupon code or promotional code for their Halloween costume and save a few extra dollars.

For example, I ran some internet searches and found the following costume retailer coupon codes and promotional codes. None of these offers was made automatically on the retailer’s website, I had to take the time and effort to run searches and find them. (ETA: Since typing the preceding sentence, I found that an equivalent offer to one of those listed below had been added on the front page of Costume Discounters website, so I wanted to give them a shout out for that. Thank you!) A little bit of effort can save you a nice chunk of money and get you more for your hard earned dollars. But I’ve already included them here, with their expiration dates, so you don’t even have to go hunting for them! (If you are aware of any I’ve missed, please let me know and I’ll add them to the list. And I’ll continue adding promotional codes and coupon codes as I find them myself.)

Please keep in mind that if you find a costume you like, at a discount price, you should probably take advantage of it sooner rather than later. Your favorite costume could sell out unexpectedly, a coupon or promotional code could be withdrawn without notice. The closer it gets to Halloween, and the more swamped a costume retailer is with orders, they may be less inclined to make special offers to get your business. At least one of the offers below expires on September 30, 2009, a month before Halloween. So if you see a good deal, take advantage of it right away, if you can.
